Poland LGBT march: Police arrest 25 after assaults on activists

Polish police have arrested 25 other people after assaults on LGBT activists collaborating within the town of Bialystok’s first ever equality march.

Round 800 pro-LGBT demonstrators marched in the course of the streets of the town on Saturday amid a heavy police presence.

Masses of counter-protesters tried to disrupt the development, with some attacking activists and chanting homophobic insults.
