Myanmar Airways Flight 103 was once headed from Yangon to Mandalay when the pilot found out the issue.
In a remark, the airline mentioned pilot Captain Myat Moe Aung “adopted emergency procedures and did the gas burn out to cut back the touchdown weight,” earlier than bringing the jet down onto its rear wheels, reducing the nostril in moderation onto the runway on which it skidded for approximately 25 seconds earlier than preventing.
There have been no casualties or accidents from the incident, the airline showed.
Video from within the airplane confirmed smoke emerging from beneath as passengers scrambled to disembark.
Following the incident, emergency cars surrounded the airplane because it rested on its nostril at the tarmac.
“The pilot did a perfect process,” Win Khant, Myanmar’s shipping minister, advised Reuters.
